I admit this year I have not really been as into So You Think You Can Dance on Fox. Not even with one of the dancers named Heidi like me. I have watched the odd night or two. The last two nights being no exception.
Last night was a great show. Heidi really had a great performance. A few of the other dancers also impressed me.
That said I was relieved tonight that Heidi was safe, glad that James went home and really had no feelings either way about Jessica going home.
Not sure I will watch it next Wednesday. I guess I will if I have the time to.
I do have to admit that I am eager to see how far Heidi goes. As for the guys I have not selected a favorite. They all dance equally well so I feel any of them could win it.
I can't hardly believe what I saw tonight. With Snow gone I have no idea what to do now. Do I keep watching and back someone else or what? I can't believe she was voted off as she was really great. I have no idea what I will do. I guess by the next show I will have it figured out.
Okay I watched it again tonight. I have not seen every single episode because some nights it was unavoidable. Also because this show isn't holding my interest as much as I thought it would. Then again the first season of American Idol didn't either. That said I hope FOX gives this show a second season to see if it picks up more steam.
Of all the dancers I saw tonight the one that most appealed to me was Snow. She is a great dancer and seems also to be a great personality. I don't know if she can win it. There are many other good dancers that can become really great before this season ends.
So far though Snow has my vote.
So the 2 hour Premier of So You Think You Can Dance is July 20th, 8/7c on Fox. I really didn't think they would roll it out that quickly but I am not complaining.
I just wish shows like this were around when I was younger. Then I would have been auditioning as well. That said I am really excited about this upcoming show from Fox. I have my doubts though it will last beyond one season. I am hoping though I will be proven wrong.
The show has not even aired yet and already the message boards are filling up with name calling, strange people (trolls?) who have nothing intelligent to say and just end up annoying everyone on the forum, and of course the rumors that So You Think You Can Dance is a joke, a hoax etc. cooked up by Fox. I think Fox has better things to do than make up fake shows as practical jokes...
So the age limits are 18-30. Well that counts me out by 3 years. Still at this point I don't think I would be in any kind of shape to be participating in a dance audition.
Well until July 20th...
Well Fox and the creators of American Idol are going to make a new show: So You Think You Can Dance. Now I love dance even more than I love singing so I will be tuning in.
Fox is already holding casting for the show Friday June 3rd at The Orpheum Theatre, 842 South Broadway, Los Angeles, California. If only something like this had been around when I was a lot younger. Of course I say the same of American Idol. At any rate had it been around during my younger years I would have been on both or at least at the auditions.
So looks like Fox is going to keep my attention with this new show. I love dance more than singing. I will be watching every episode and providing content and thoughts from each episode. I can hardly wait.
